It has been a long time coming for our Seahawks and for the city of Seattle. Well done!

Winter and Kate

Kate Bush’s music always reminds me of winter and the memories that surround my grandfather’s house. It was a house that was in the city but was surrounded by a field, trees, quiet and beauty. When we did receive snow, the field would take on a different dimension of being on the outskirts of forest and wood. When I first bought this CD it was one of those snow capped days. I remember listening to the music and dancing to this song with an occasional look out of the window just to see the snow still coming down. It was perfect.

Friday Music

The leaves are changing and the wind has turned its whispering into cool gusts of mumble jumble. It is my favorite time of the year and in a couple of weeks Halloween will be upon us, where I will be celebrating with my fellow witches. I can’t help but think of how many of us are out there. But still many hide in the shadows afraid of what others might think, say or do.
